Wyoming’s average gas prices up by 1.4 cents a gallon in the past week

CHEYENNE (WNE)  — Average gasoline prices in Wyoming have risen 1.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3 per gallon Monday, according to GasBuddy.com’s survey of 494 stations in Wyoming.

In Kemmerer, prices are above the statewide average, being reported anywhere from $3.24 to $3.34 per gallon.

Prices in Wyoming are 5.9 cents per gallon lower than a month ago, and stand 17.9 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

According to GasBuddy price reports, the lowest price in the state Sunday was $2.55 per gallon, while the highest was $3.99, a difference of $1.44 per gallon.

The national average price of gasoline has fallen 6.4 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.02 per gallon Monday. The national average is down 13.7 cents per gallon from a month ago, and stands 14.4 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data.
