Kemmerer High School Basketball Roundup

The Lady Rangers played a full slate of games over the weekend as part of the Fossil Country Classic. Kemmerer was the host site for several teams from the region. On Friday, January 2, the Lady Rangers fell to Farson-Eden 53-25 and then came up just short to Manila (UT) with a final score of 50-47. 

On Saturday, the Lady Rangers clipped Saratoga in a tight 42-41 final score. 

The Rangers competed as the host team as well, picking up a win on Friday with a 67-51 final over Farson-Eden. On Saturday, the Kemmerer boys edged the Cokeville Panthers 52-48 and then closed out the tournament with a loss to Rich County (UT), 81-52. 

This week, the Kemmerer squads will be at home again as they host Pinedale High School on Tuesday night. The girls game is scheduled to tip-off at 5:30 p.m. with the boys to follow at 7 p.m.

On Saturday, the girls and boys teams will be hosting the Star Valley Sophomores with games at 12 noon and 1:30 p.m. Part of Saturday’s events will feature the raising of the 2025 State Championship Track and Field banner for the Kemmerer girls.
