• Rangers compete in Lander this upcoming weekend
The Kemmerer Rangers swim team competed in two days of action this past weekend in Big Piney and Pinedale with several regional teams in attendance. The Rangers compiled 143 team points to place fifth in the meet which included Buffalo, Evanston, Lyman and the Sublette County squad.
According to information posted on the Lincoln County School District #1 Facebook page, KJ Walker prequalified for the state meet in the 100 Backstroke while Bowman Sandall won the Diving competition on both days.
Callahan Ryerse pre-qualified for state in the 6-Dives format and Brenden Lockwood qualified in the 100 Backstroke.
It was also reported that Charlie Lozier, Beau Cunningham and Remington Shepherd all had personal best times.
The Rangers will be in Lander this weekend for competition against the Tigers and the bulk of the 3A classification.
