The Kemmerer Rangers Swim Team competed at the Wyoming 3A State Championships at Cheyenne East High School this past weekend. The Kemmerer boys scored 85 team points, good for sixth in the 11-team field.
Two freshmen led the way which is an exciting notion for the future as Bowman Sandall scored in two individual events including a second-place finish in the 1-Meter Diving; Kemmerer’s highest finish of the weekend. He also was part of a pair of relay events that scored points as well. Brenden Lockwood scored in the 200-Yard Individual Medley and the 500-Yard Freestyle and was also part of a pair of relay teams.
