After Day 1 of the Wyoming State Wrestling Championships at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper, the Kemmerer Rangers are leading the 2A classification with 79 team points.
Kemmerer advanced six wrestlers into the semifinal round of the tournament which will cap off Day 2. Wyatt Miller (126), Abel Jiminiz (132), Noah Parks (150), Heston McMillan (157), Michael Symons (165) and Jace Barton (285) all won their matches on Thursday and will try and advance to the finals.
The Cokeville Panthers are second after one day of action with 70 team points. Greybull/Riverside is third with 69.
The Panthers advanced seven into the semifinals with Case Thompson (113), Mason Child (132), Daxton Pope (150), Flint Linford (165), Logan Halls (175), Clay Teichert (175) and Kashton Walker (190) winning their matches.

• The Kemmerer Lady Rangers are currently 14th with 22 team points after Day 1 in the girls tournament which includes all 47 programs from the state. Riley Meyer (100) and Kaylie Julander (140) will try and advance to the finals with a win on Friday night.
The Star Valley Lady Braves are leading the girls team scores with 81 after Day 1. Green River is second with 54 and Powell lis third with 43.5.
