Complete list of candidates who filed for office

The candidate filing period in Wyoming for this year’s election cycle closed on Friday, May 29. Below are the unofficial lists of county, state and federal candidates who filed, as reported by the Lincoln County Clerk’s Office and the Wyoming Secretary of State’s Office. A list of municipal candidates for mayor and town council positions have not yet been made available. A complete list of those candidates will be posted when released. 

The candidate filing period for open school board positions will take place August 5-24. 

The 2026 Primary Election will take place on Tuesday, August 18. A special election section of the Star Valley Independent will be printed on August 12. SVI Media Candidate Forums will also be held before the election.

Candidates are listed in the order they appear on filing rosters.
