BRIDGER-TETON NATIONAL FOREST PHOTO

The Bridger-Teton National Forest is planning to begin prescribed (Rx) fire operations this week on the Hams Fork Vegetation Project area, located on the Kemmerer Ranger District near Forest Service Road #10066 in the Green Knoll area.

Rx fire reduces overgrown vegetation and helps protect communities, infrastructure and resources from wildfire.

Smoke may be visible from the cities of Kemmerer, LaBarge and Cokeville, WY during operations. Please do not report.
