The Kemmerer-Diamondville Joint Powers Board is notifying some residents that water service will be disrupted this Wednesday, October 22. The areas of Antelope Ridge, Industrial Park, Justice Center, Port of Entry and County Shop are expected to be without water beginning at 10:00 a.m. until approximately 6:00 p.m.
“This temporary service interruption is necessary to allow the JPB contractor to replace approximately 40 feet of 12-inch water line that is currently leaking,” said the JPB in a statement. “This repair will take place between the Cemetery and Antelope Ridge, but will affect all the above areas.”
JPB is encouraging residents in impacted areas to fill water containers and/or bathtubs the night before to have water available for basic needs, including flushing toilets. Crews will be delivering cases of bottled water to residents who would like them. Anyone with questions or concerns is encouraged to contact the JPB at (307) 877-2261.
“We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this necessary infrastructure upgrade,” stated the JPB.
