Lady Rangers place 2nd in 3A South Conference championships

Kemmerer hosted the 3A South conference swimming and diving meet this past weekend where the team finished second behind powerhouse Lander. The Lady Rangers finished with 283 points. Lander finished with 439 points. Sublette County was third with 208. 

Hanna Walker claimed a conference championship in Diving while also setting a conference record and a school record in 11 Dives. She was named the Athlete of the Meet. 

Logan Rogers won a pair of conference championships in both the 50 and 100-yard Freestyle events. She set a new conference and school record in the 50 and a school record in the 100. 

Coach Aimone was named the Coach of the Year while Coach Willoughby was named the Assistant Coach of the Year. 

The Lady Rangers also collected a number of second-place finishes with Charlie Boylen doing so in the 100-yard Breaststroke and the 200-yard Individual Medley. Her time in the breaststroke set a new school record as well. 

The quartet of Ally Bartschi, Payton Scherr, Gabby Barschi and Kalyn Lockwood placed second in the 200-yard Medley while Rogers, Lockwood, Boylen and Demi Thatcher placed second in the 200-yard Freestyle Relay.

Finally, the group of Rogers, Boylen, Scherr and Bartschi did so in the 400-yard Frestyle Relay. 

The Last Chance Meet in Green River is this weekend with the state competition taking place next weekend.
