Kemmerer Rangers football coach, Bart Jernigan, has announced he is stepping down from the position. Jernigan made the announcement on both Facebook and X stating that he was “making the difficult decision to hang up the whistle and retire from coaching. Being the head coach of the Kemmerer Rangers has been a dream come true for me. I’ve poured my heart soul, effort, energy, time and passion into this calling for twenty years now and working to build our program up these last 11 years has been the thrill of my life.”
Jernigan helmed the Rangers for nine seasons from 2017 through this last year. The team’s overall record during that time was (13-60).
