KEMMERER GIRLS SWIMMING

Over the weekend the Lady Ranger Swim team competed in Lander at the Lander Relays and the Bruce Gresly Pentathlon. They had a great showing and started the season off right! Below are some of the results.

Hanna Walker won diving both days setting a new school record of 407.55 in 11 dives!

Kalyn Lockwood placed 2nd on Friday and 3rd on Saturday, breaking 300 points in 11 dives on Saturday with a score of 311.65!

Both Kalyn and Hanna qualified for the state meet for both the 6 and 11 dives format.

As for the swimmers Logan Rogers, Charlie Boylen, Demi Thatcher, Payton Scherr, and Ally Bartschi qualified for the state meet. Ally and Payton in the 100 backstroke, Demi in the 100 breaststroke, and Charlie and Logan in 100 fly, 100 back, 100 breast, 50 free and 100 free.

Logan and Charlie placed in the top 10 in the Pentathlon where they take your times from the 5 events and add them together.

The top 10 fastest cumulative times are awarded. Logan placed 2nd and also won the 50 free where she had to best over 100 athletes to do so, and Charlie placed 9th!

KEMMERER and COKEVILLE  VOLLEYBALL

The Cokeville Invite was the site for both the Lady Panthers and Lady Rangers to open up their 2025 volleyball seasons. The Panthers earned a spot into the Gold bracket before being eliminated while the Rangers slipped into the Silver bracket before being eliminated. Both teams will be competing at the Evanston Border Wars this upcoming weekend.

KEMMERER AND COKEVILLE FOOTBALL

The Kemmerer Rangers and Cokeville Panthers conducted a scrimmage this past week with real contests for both programs starting this week. Kemmerer will face the Moorcroft Wolves in a Thursday game on a neutral site in Shoshoni. Listen to this game on The Spur throughout southwest Wyoming or on the SVI Media app. 

The Cokeville Panthers will host the West Jefferson Panthers on Friday afternoon with a kickoff time of 3 p.m.

2A West teams that played in official games for Zero Week included Lyman who fell to Malad (ID) in a low-scoring 6-0 final. The Mountain View Buffalos faced off against the Green River Wolves and rolled to a 46-21 win against the 3A school.
